What is BBP?

BBP is a formula discovered in 1995 by Simon Plouffe. The formula is named after David H. Bailey, Peter Borwein, and Simon Plouffe. More on Wikipedia »

The BBP algorithm is very powerful because it let you calculate the nth pi digit without the need to store the previous n-1th digits. In this website is avaiable three141, a ruby porting of the bbp algorithm.

The Pi song

A song about the first n-th pi digits ? It seems incredible but I’ve found that song with a very nice pi art in the page ! The author has a nice website about the root of 2 too
